Molly Costello, Firm Director

Molly is a senior at Marist College, majoring in communication/public relations. Molly was accepted into the firm as the assistant social media director her sophomore year, and was promoted to assistant firm director her junior year.

 

Molly has a diverse range of experiences in the realm of PR. The summer after her sophomore year she interned at Pierce Communications, a small public relations firm located in Albany. During her time studying abroad in London in spring 2016, Molly interned in the consumer division at Nexus Communications where she primarily worked on accounts in the food and drink sector. In fall 2016 she interned in the public relations and creative marketing department at CNN, working on various initiatives for CNN Original Series, CNN Digital and HLN. Molly is currently a research intern at Infinite Global in Beacon, NY.

 

Outside of academics and the world of PR, Molly enjoys traveling, keeping up with current events, spending time with her family in the Adirondacks and listening to Spanish music.

Emily Burnham, Assistant Firm Director

Emily is a senior at Marist College, majoring in public relations and advertising, along with a minor in business. Emily was accepted to the firm as an account representative her sophomore year, and was promoted to assistant firm director her junior year. 

 

Emily has experience spearheading the publicity and social media for the Emerging Leader’s Program as an executive board member. She was also a public relations and development intern at the Foundation for Vassar Brothers Medical Center, a non-profit organization that she feels passionately about. During summer 2015, Emily was a public relations intern at High10 Media in New York City, where she worked with clients such as Smithsonian, Billboard, and The Hollywood Reporter. 

 

Beyond her journey to become a public relations professional, Emily loves to travel, and studied in Florence, Italy her junior fall semester. Emily hopes continue to learn about global communications, a field she is passionate about, by gaining as much valuable experience as she can.

LoriBeth Greenan, Faculty Advisor

LoriBeth is a faculty member in the Department of Communication at Marist College. She is also an adjunct professor in the Public Relations and Corporate Communications Graduate Program at NYU. In 2013, LoriBeth contributed to the text Crisis Management in the Age of Social Media. Her research interests include the significance of storytelling in brand relevancy and crisis management.

Prior to joining Marist, she held the position of Senior Director at Turner Public Relations where she gained experience in managing teams, building highly strategic public relations campaigns and garnering new business relationships. She is an accomplished strategist with polished skills in developing internal and external communication plans.

​

LoriBeth has constructed successful national campaigns while working with brands such as The North Face, Levi’s, Snapple, Tivo, Eddie Bauer and K-SWISS.

​

She has placed her clients in top national media outlets from network TV to newspapers and magazines. LoriBeth has freelanced as a Trend Forecaster for PIX11’s Morning Show, appeared on The Late Show with David Letterman and can be found in advertisements for the World Gold Council.
